Attending a cabi In-Person fashion Experience

I shared last month in that I am partnerning with cabi this spring to share some pieces from their beautiful Spring Collection. If you missed that blog post, you can read it HERE. Their clothes are such great quality and while they are definitely an investment, I know they will last as I have friends who have had their cabi pieces for many years. cabi has a great selection of casual and everyday clothes and they also have comfy athleisure wear like this fun camo print outfit.

This MARATHON JACKET is a heavier weight than it looks and will keep me warm well in to fall. It has a comfortable fit with just the right amount of stretch. And I love the ribbed cuffs and thumbhole cutouts. The jacket runs big in my opinion, so I would recommend sizing down. The matching MARATHON LEGGINGS are a thick ponte material with an elastic waist. If you are in between sizes, I recommend sizing down. These pieces would look great with a white, black or olive green tee like the TROOPER TEE I am wearing here. It has a flattering v-neck and an easy loose fit. I recommend sizing down if in between sizes in the tee. You could easily mix and match these pieces with items already in your closet to create multiple outfits.

One of the great things about ordering from cabi is you have a chance to see and feel the clothes prior to buying by going to a Fashion Experience. cabi has Stylists all over the country who host these events in their homes and showcase all the pieces of the collection. I have been invited to attend these events in the past, but just attended my first one earlier this month. I had a great time and thought I would share my experience.

As I arrived, I was offered something to eat and drink, and look around at all the pretty clothes on the racks. Once everyone arrived (there were about 8 or 9 of us), we each received a form that lists every item in the collection with the price. This was to take notes regarding the pieces we really liked as we saw the collection. It came in handy since there were so many items and I could not remember the names of each piece. We also received a Look Book so we could see different pieces styled different ways.

Everyone received a Look Book and an itemized list of every piece in the collection to reference and take notes as the Stylist showcased each piece.

The Stylist then showed every piece of the collection, and she talked about the fit and how to wear it. She also gave suggestions on what pieces to style together. After we saw everything, we had the opportunity to try on any items that we were interested in. There was generally just one size of each piece, but it was still helpful to see and feel the fabric even if it was not my size. It was also helpful to see the pieces on the other ladies who were there, to see how each piece looked on an actual body rather than just a hanger. I selected the pieces I wanted to purchase and placed my order with the Stylist before I left the party. There was no pressure to order and overall it was a great experience. The items were all shipped to the Stylist and she hand delivered them to my home once they arrived. So convenient!
