Hi everyone! I’m Laura, the fashion addict behind Smart Southern Style and I’m so glad you’ve stopped by. I’m a Southern girl who loves travel, finding a great sale, Mexican food and colorful clothes! I live in Charlotte NC and am married to my college sweetheart who makes me laugh every day. I’m so blessed to have the two most wonderful daughters (ages 19 & 12) and am eternally grateful for the grace and love of Jesus.

I created this blog as a place to provide fashion and style inspiration to ladies in their 30s, 40s and beyond who want to live a fashionable life without breaking the bank. Being a busy mama doesn’t mean you have to wear yoga pants every day! I love to mix colors and price points and am a firm believer that you can have great style on any budget. Travel, beauty, and home decor are some of my other passions so you will occasionally see posts on here about those interests as well.
